Art & Culture Week will be held at all PHSC campuses March 2-5, 2015.
Art & Culture Week focuses on building awareness of cultural experience through activities such as experiential painting, films, lectures and other events. The week examines and celebrates the arts and cultural influences on modern society. Students, faculty, staff and the community are invited to attend these events, including Artists as Peace Makers panel display, hand-cut silhouette art, clay spinning, cultural diversity panels, community artist festivals and culture days.
In choosing a presentation type, please consider the most appropriate format for interactive input and stimulating discussion of issues.
- Symposium - Designed to enable multiple presenters followed by discussion
- Roundtable - Designed to facilitate interactive discussion and in-depth exploration of key evaluation issues
- Mini-workshop - A teaching/learning session designed along instructional lines
- Display or Poster - Displays in the breakout areas designed to promote event(s)
The abstract needs to describe the content of the presentation or workshop you are proposing. Please ensure the description of your proposed presentation or workshop is no more than 300 words.
All abstracts must include a photo(s) of the presenter(s) for inclusion in the event program.
Innovative presentation styles
The Art & Culture Week Committee wish to encourage innovative ways of presenting. All proposals for new methods will be considered.
