Basketball Endures Loss to Manatee-Sarasota
On Tuesday November 25, the Quistas competed against State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota and lost: PHSC 84, SCF 98. Top scorers of the game were, Terrance Briggs with 16 points and five rebounds; Daemon Ashley with 15 points and four assists; and Victor Davila with 13 points and 11 assists.
The Quistas will face Santa Fe College at home on December 3 at 7 p.m. The team's current record is now 4-8.
Basketball Overcome by Gulf State
On Friday, November 11, the Quistas played tough against Gulf Coast State College, but lost, PHSC 57, Gulf Coast 72. Top scorers of the game were Taylor Breck 18 points and Daemon Ashley 19 points.
The team will play Northwest Florida State College tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at Northwest Florida State College. NWFSC is one of the top NJCAA basketball schools in the country. The Quista's record is now 4-6.
Basketball Suffers Loss to Polk State
The Quistas played a tough game against Polk State College last night. The final outcome was Polk 85, PHSC 65. The top scorers of the game were, Taylor Breck with 16 points and four rebounds; Daemon Ashley, 14 points and Shane Temara 13 points and four rebounds.
The team plays Gulf Coast State College at the Bruce Steward Classic in Niceville, Fla. on Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Northwest Florida State College gym.
Quistas Fall to Indian River
On Monday the Quista's played against Indian River State College. They played hard, but lost, PHSC 62 to IRSC 90. Top scorers of the game were Daemon Ashley with 18 points and Shane Temara with 18 points and seven rebounds.
The Quistas play Polk State College tonight, at home, at 7 p.m. The current record is 4-4.
St. Pete Overcomes Quistas Basketball
On Saturday November 15, the Quistas battled St. Pete College, but lost. Final score: PHSC 75 , St. Pete 87. Top players of the game included, Daemon Ashley 17 points and Victor Davila 14 points, and five steals.
The Quistas will play Indian River State College on Monday November 17 in Ft. Pierce at 7 p.m. Their record is now 4-3.
Basketball Wins at Home Against Johnson University
The Quistas defeated Johnson University last night, 74-64. Top scorers were Shane Temara with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocks and Daemon Ashley with 16 points and five rebounds.
The next game will be against St. Petersburg College on Saturday November 15 at 4 p.m. at St. Petersburg College.
Basketball Takes Tough Loss to West Georgia Tech
The Quistas fought hard but lost against West Georgia Technical College. Final score was PHSC 81, West Georgia 84. Top scorers included
Clayton Buchanan, 16 points and four assists and Shane Temara, 16 points and 15 rebounds.
The team's next game will be Wednesday November 12 at home against Johnson University at 7 p.m.
The season record is now 3-2.
Basketball Beats Oxford in Road Game
The Quistas pulled out a victory over Oxford on Thursday night. Final score: PHSC 81, Oxford 74. Top scorers were
Victor Davilia 18 points and five assists, Foday Kamara 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists, and Daemon Ashley 14 points and six rebounds.
The Quistas next game will be Saturday, November 8 against West Georgia Technical College at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Ga.

The Quistas lost their first away game to Georgia Highlands on Wednesday night. The final score was PHSC 57, Georgia Highlands 85. The Quistas' top scorers included Shane Temara, 14 points, and Daemon Ashley, 14 points and five rebounds.
The Quistas play Thursday night against Oxford of Emory at 7:30 p.m. The team's current record is 2-1.
Basketball Wins Home Game Against Georgia NW Tech
The Quistas were successful against Georgia Northwestern Technical College last night. The team scored 84 points over Georgia Northwestern Technical College's 67. The top scoring players were Taylor Breck 23 points and seven rebounds, Shane Temara 21 points and eight rebounds and Terrance Briggs 15 points and three rebounds.
The team's next game is Wednesday, November 5 at 7 p.m. against Georgia Highlands in Rome, Ga.
Basketball Opens Season with a Win
Today was the Quistas' first game opener. They succeeded with a win over Clearwater Christian College. Clearwater Christian College 66, PHSC 74. Top players were, Taylor Breck, 19 points, 14 rebounds. Victor Davila, 12 points, and eight assists. Deion Fields 11 points, eight rebounds, one block. Daemon Ashley, 10 points.
The Quistas will be on the road in Georgia for the next four games. The first game against Georgia Northwestern Technical College is November 4.
Basketball Scrimmage Fundraiser a Success
The Quistas played their last scrimmage game Saturday. The final score was Tampa Swish 114, PHSC 79 The top player for the Quistas was Taylor Breck with 24 points and 8 rebounds.
The game was a fundraiser for former player (1988-1990) and assistant coach Brent Cooper (2000-2001). The game raised $600 to aid Coach Cooper with medical expenses. We wish him well on his health.
The Quistas open with their first game on November 1 against Clearwater Christian College, at home, at 4 p.m.
Basketball Takes Loss at Home from Trinity College
The Quistas played tough against Trinity College during Tuesday night's scrimmage. However, they lost by four points, Trinity College 98, PHSC 94.
Top players of the game were Shane Temara, 26 points, eight rebounds, and six blocks. Taylor Breck, 19 points, and 12 rebounds. Victor Davila 17 points, and nine assists.
The next and final scrimmage will be this Saturday October 25 at 2 p.m. at home.
15 Basketball Alum Return for Game
The men's basketball team hosted 15 former players at their recent alumni game. The former players defeated the 2014-15 squad 96-86. The successful reunion for former athletes and former coach Bobby Bowman took place on October 11 at the West Campus.
Top PHSC players were: Shane Temara with 22 points nd nine rebounds; Taylor Breck with 17 points, nine rebounds and five assists; and Je Quan DeLugo with 14 points and eight rebounds.
Basketball and Cheerleading Teams Join Coastal Cleanup
The basketball and cheerleading teams teamed up for a day of community service at the Pasco Coastal Cleanup on September 20. All athletic teams commit to doing one community service event each year. This year, Coastal Clean Up in Pasco County was chosen by the basketball and cheerleading teams.
The basketball players pulled 35 tires out of the gulf at the Palms Preserve area as well as picking up trash in the area. The cheerleaders picked up trash in the same area.
