Marketing and Communications

The Illustration of target and upward funnelPHSC Office of Marketing and Communications collaboratively produces and distributes print and digital publications, marketing materials, web and catalog content, advertising, press releases and publicity for the college.

The department provides graphic design and editorial services in support of Admissions, Student Development, Athletics and many other programs and departments. Marketing and Communications manages all media relations, production and housing of digital assets and oversees the College’s social media content.

An award-winning team

The Marketing and Communications department has received awards in state, regional and national competitions for campaigns, publications, advertisements, brochures and the website. The efforts of the marketing team have been acknowledged by the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR), the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) Communications and Marketing Commission (CMC), the Higher Education Marketing Report Educational Advertising Awards and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Recent accomplishments include an NCMPR Paragon award for Radio Advertisement; a Best in Show for student handbook/planner and five first place awards for Perspective magazine, annual report, brochures, television commercials and website design from the AFC-CMC competition; and gold, silver and bronze awards from the NCMPR District 2 Medallion competition for "Special Event—40 years", "Microsites—Celebrate 40", and "Foundation Annual Report", respectively. The department has also recently received awards for Total Integrated Campaign — “Celebrating 40 Years of Success”, Outdoor Advertising — “Back of the Bus: Follow Us to PHCC”, TV Spot Single — “New Porter Campus Promotion”, and New Media — “PHCC e-Newsletter – ‘Get Ready for Peace Week’” from the Higher Ed Marketing Educational Advertising Awards competition.
