Required qualifications: 

Associate’s degree in Computer Sciences or related area from a regionally-accredited institution; two years of related full-time work experience in administration and support of Microsoft Windows systems or MS SQL Server databases; experience with WAN and LAN technologies; excellent communications skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member; must be able to work occasional evening hours and weekends; have reliable transportation for travel between the college’s locations; satisfactory back X-ray with ability to lift 40 lbs; satisfactory criminal history background check; four years of related work experience and Novell CNE, or MCSE, or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) certification, may be substituted for associate’s degree.

Preferred qualifications: 

Advanced knowledge and experience in administration of Microsoft Windows systems and servers, Novell/SUSE, and MS SQL Server experience.
