Pasco-Hernando Community College basketball players, Alvin Satram and Kelby Robinson have signed letters of intent to play basketball next fall. Robinson will attend Wiley College, in Wiley, Texas; Satram will attend Daemen College, in Buffalo, New York beginning fall term, 2012. Both colleges participate within the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) organization.
Robinson, the team's second leading scorer, averaged 14 points per game with 4.7 rebounds per game. Satram, 4.00 GPA student, and the third leading scorer, averaged 12.36 points per game; he led the team in assists with 5.4 per game.
“Both players were extremely instrumental in helping the Conquistadors achieve their current record of 19-12. They are incredibly good shooters and very competitive,” said James E. Johnson, PHCC athletic director and head basketball coach. “Satram handled point guard duties and hit a couple of last second, big 3's that were needed to clinch some games. Robinson played the forward position and with his shooting ability he was very consistent with hitting double digit scoring in most games.”
