PHCC's Nate Doyle places fourth in U.S. Community College Division of 2012 DC3 Digital Forensics Challenge

Pasco-Hernando Community College student Nate Doyle placed fourth in the U.S. community college division of the 2012 Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) Challenge. Doyle was a one-person team; placing 69 of 188 teams overall.

The annual DC3 Digital Forensics Challenge is a global, online competition that requires contestants to solve increasingly difficult problems involving password cracking, detecting evidence of intrusion, finding hidden data in music and video files, and other cyber security challenges. The DC3 competition draws participants from industry, government, military, university, community college and high schools.
