PHCC's AHA Training Center offers BLS certification and BLS instructor courses for heath care professionals

Pasco-Hernando Community College, an American Heart Association authorized training center, will offer Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers courses at each of its four campuses providing various start dates throughout the spring term.

PHCC’s highly qualified and certified BLS instructors provide the nationally recognized American Heart Association course material to students seeking two-year certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Certification through an American Heart Association authorized training center is universally accepted by all employers and considered the gold standard of certification. Students must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for a BLS for Healthcare Providers course completion card.

Current BLS-certified healthcare providers interested in becoming a certified BLS instructor and the opportunity to teach at the PHCC AHA authorized training center, or other authorized centers, can register for the noncredit BLS Instructor Course to be held on Wednesday, January 23 at the West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road.

For more information and to register for the BLS certification course or BLS instructor course, call Dallas Crick at 727-816-3119.
