Pasco-Hernando Community College is partnering with Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center (GNAHEC) to provide a free program to those interested in quitting tobacco use. The program, sponsored by the Florida Department of Health, aims to facilitate the process of quitting smoking using counseling and optional nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). Participants are eligible to receive up to four weeks of free NRT products including gum, patches and lozenges.
This program is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, June 18 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. in room J105 at the PHCC West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road.
There are no requirements for participation, just a willingness to quit smoking. To register, please call 813-929-1000. This program is offered at no charge and is open to the public.
