Ken Burdzinski, Vice President of Administration and Finance at Pasco-Hernando Community College, was appointed to the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) Community Colleges Council. His term runs from August 1, 2013 through July 31, 2014, and is renewable up to three years.
The council was established to ensure that issues of specific concern to community colleges are represented and addressed in the development of the association’s strategic goals and plans and in the creation of programs, products and services for its members. The Community Colleges Council serves as an advisory body to the NACUBO president and staff by providing suggestions, feedback and support for the association’s goals and activities as they pertain to the constituency.
Burdzinski has worked at PHCC for the last 16 years in the Administration and Finance division. He serves on the PHCC Foundation Board of Directors Executive Committee, the Florida College System’s Council of Business Affairs and on the Operations Committee of the Florida College System Risk Management Consortium. He also serves as a peer evaluator for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges. Burdzinski holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and a master’s degree from Baldwin-Wallace College.
