Pasco-Hernando Community College is seeking experienced singers to join the College/Community Chorus program. The chorus is beginning its third season under the direction of James Urbanski who currently serves as director of the Thursday Musicale, the Nature Coast Festival Singers and the Dade City Symphony.
“Experienced singers who might desire a musical outlet beyond their church or school organizations are welcome to join the chorus,” said James Urbanski, PHCC Choral Program Director. “Current plans call for concerts of varied musical styles to be presented in late November in Dade City and Spring Hill.”
Chorus rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning on August 20. The chorus meets in room H-107, located in the Performing Arts Center building on the PHCC West Campus in New Port Richey. Tuition fee for the chorus is $29 for the fall semester and includes music. The chorus is offered through the College’s Continuing Education department and is funded in part by the PHCC Foundation through a grant from the Mary Ellen Grodrian Fund.
