Bob Bade, Dean of Student Development and Enrollment Management at Pasco-Hernando Community College, was selected for induction in the 2013 Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Hall of Fame. The FCSAA induction ceremony will be November 15 at the Caribe Royale resort in Orlando. As an honoree, a plaque recognizing Bade will be displayed in the FCSAA State Office Building in Tallahassee.
Since 1990 Bade has served in a number of positions at PHCC: admissions specialist and academic planner; coordinator of student activities; and associate dean of student activities and engagement since January 2007.
Bade earned his BA in psychology at Eckerd College, his MA in psychology at John F. Kennedy University, Pleasant Hill, Calif., and an education specialist degree from Saint Leo University. Currently a doctoral student at Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va., Bade’s awards include: Association of Florida Colleges Student Development Exemplary Practice Award for the Welcome & Engagement (WE Team) Retention Program; the Bob Graham Distinguished Service Award; Distinguished Service Award from Student Government Associations; and 2012 Pasco-Hernando Community College Presidential Cup Award—the highest honor an employee can receive at the college. Bade lives in New Port Richey.
