The Encore Academy at Pasco-Hernando Community College offers computer and personal enrichment workshops for adults. Learning opportunities are offered in most academic areas, including college credit and technical credit programs, noncredit courses and other selected monthly activities.
The Encore Academy at PHCC offers membership options to adults over the age of 50 from only $125 per academic year, defined as August through April. Winter or part-time residents may consider the $99 single term option a better choice. Twenty hours of workshops are included with membership.

Beginning Digital Photography –Thursdays, 9/12 to 9/26 from 9 to 11 a.m. Students learn the basics to photography using a digital camera. $36
H.A.P.P.I.N.E.S.S. By Design – Monday, 9/16 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Wellness psychologist and corporate trainer, Dr. James Lin teaches participants about the nine factors for building happiness. $12
A.G.E.I.N.G. By Design – Monday, 9/23 from 10 a.m. to noon. Dr. James Lin shows participants how to design and prepare an aging lifestyle. $12
Beginning Drawing – Tuesdays, 10/1 to 10/15 from 1 to 3 p.m. Students are introduced to the basic discipline of drawing through a variety of exercises. $36
Introduction to Creative Writing – Wednesdays, 10/2 to 10/16 from 10 a.m. to noon. Students will be introduced to the basic elements of writing by using characterization, dialogue, point of view and conflict. $36
Mousercize –Thursday, 10/3 from 1 to 3 p.m. Students learn to use a computer mouse. $12
Digital Photography II – Thursdays, 10/3 to 10/17 from 9 to 11 a.m. Students learn tips and tricks to carry out the basics of photography. $36
