The PHCC District Board of Trustees approved the naming of a nursing laboratory at the North Campus in honor of the Hernando Healthcare Foundation’s generous support of Pasco-Hernando Community College health care programs. The Hernando Healthcare Foundation initially established an endowed scholarship in 2010 and has continued to support the college. In 2012, the organization provided a $90,000 gift to enable the purchase of necessary nursing equipment and supplies for PHCC’s North Campus, and enhanced their scholarship funding for health care students.
