Rao Musunuru, M.D. Art Gallery Presents "Music of My Life" by Artist Marty Balin

Pasco-Hernando Community College’s Rao Musunuru, M.D. Art Gallery will exhibit works from artist Marty Balin in Music is My Life. An opening reception, sponsored by the Student Government Association, will be held on Thursday, January 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit runs from January 16 through February 20, 2014. Marty Balin will also perform an acoustical show of hits including “Volunteers,” “Miracles” and “Hearts” at the PHCC Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 8 at 8 p.m. More information about the performance is available online at www.phcc.edu/tix. The gallery exhibit will be open before and after Balin’s show.

In the first art exhibit of the New Year, Balin, singer-songwriter and founding member of Jefferson Airplane, will showcase his experiences in the musical performance culture through his paintings from Lennon to Jagger, Elton to Hendrix to Joplin. 

The Rao Musunuru, M.D. Art Gallery and the Performing Arts Center are located on the West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road.
