Pasco-Hernando Community College recently named William J. Shustowski, Jr., Ph.D., dean of institutional advancement and executive director of the PHCC Foundation.
Shustowski held various positions in higher education throughout his career. Most recently, he was associate executive director of development, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne from 2009 to 2012 and vice president for university advancement at University of Saint Francis, Ind., from 2002 to 2009. Shustowski also served as president at Ancilla College, Ind., from 1994-2002 and vice president and academic dean (1990-94) and vice president for institutional advancement at Lambuth University, Tenn. (1989-90).
He received his Ph.D. in educational administration from University of Wisconsin-Madison, his MA in student personnel administration in higher education from Colgate University, N.Y., and his BA in foreign affairs (cum laude) from Assumption College, Mass. Shustowski is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, and an honorary member of Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He resides in New Port Richey with his wife Marianne.
