Pasco-Hernando State College will host an Information Session on its new Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road, on Thursday, May 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. in room M-101. The session will feature information about PHSC’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) online degree program that prepares currently licensed RNs who have an Associate in Science in Nursing (ADN) degree, with additional skills in management, leadership, theory and research.
“The PHSC BSN degree program is offered completely online, providing flexibility and convenience to current RNs in the field,” said Daryle Wane, Ph.D., PHSC RN to BSN Coordinator. “A nurse who earns a BSN degree has increased opportunities for career advancement.”
Program faculty and advisors will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about admission requirements and prerequisite courses that can be taken at any of the five PHSC campuses. The first BSN class begins August 2014, however interested students must apply for admission no later than May 30, 2014.
This event is free and open to any student interested in the BSN program at PHSC.
