The amount of the FSAG varies from $1,304 - $2,069 (annual figure), depending on the student’s eligibility.
How are the FSAG funds issued?
Once FSAG funds are awarded, students can view each semester award via their WISE account.
Students may use FSAG funds to pay tuition and book costs. Any remaining FSAG funds after tuition and book costs have been covered are disbursed to each awarded student through their PHSC OneCard after the semester begins.
What are the criteria for continued eligibility?
Complete a FAFSA each academic year.
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
Renewal FSAG recipients are required to meet minimum credit hour requirements to remain eligible the following academic year. The credit hour requirements are as follows:
12 credit hours earned each term for full-time enrollment
9 credit hours earned each term for three-quarter time enrollment
6 credit hours earned each term for half-time enrollment
Apply early! Funds are limited. Priority awarding begins April 15, each year.
Record accurate information on the FAFSA to prevent a delay in awarding.
Make sure the Social Security number is correct on the FAFSA.
If a student has not received any information from PHSC’s financial aid office within six weeks of submitting the SAR, the student should contact the Financial Aid office.
