Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) was granted approval to begin offering baccalaureate degrees in 2014 by the Florida College System of the State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
The baccalaureate degrees offered at PHSC are designed to provide a skilled workforce that will meet the specific industry needs within our community.
The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) is a baccalaureate program designed to meet the demands for entry and advancement within specific workforce sectors. Students who have already earned an associate's degree or equivalent can complete a bachelor-level program suited to their area of work interest.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is designed to prepare graduates of Associate in Science degree nursing (ADN) programs, who already hold a registered nursing (RN) license, to obtain additional skills in management, leadership, theory and research to succeed and be promoted within the nursing profession. Beyond traditional patient care, BSN graduates will be qualified for expanded career advancement opportunities in leadership, management and education.
