First-line supervisors or managers are responsible for answering customer questions and resolving complaints. Duties may include guiding other employees through complex problems, implementing office policies and procedures, supervising office support workers and customer service employees, and evaluating job performances.
A successful supervisor must possess strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
To prepare students for employment in supervisory positions such as employee relations specialist, events specialist, production specialist or other mid-management positions in a variety of business environments.
This program can be completed in approximately six months if students attend classes on a full-time basis.
This certificate program can be completed on East Campus in Dade City, North Campus in Brooksville and West Campus in New Port Richey.
All courses for this certificate are offered in the traditional classroom setting or online.
