Marketing specialists implement marketing, sales, advertising and public relations skills to meet organizational objectives. Marketing professionals often evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data and implement new marketing policies as needed.
Marketing operations specialists must have highly developed interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly and persuasively. A strong knowledge of display design, advertising and salesmanship, public relations, and basic economic principles is also required to be a successful marketing specialist.
The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment as advertising and display specialists; marketing, advertising, public relations managers; public relations specialists, or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupations.
This program can be completed in approximately one year if students attend classes on a full-time basis.
This program can be completed on the West Campus in New Port Richey. Some courses can be completed on the East Campus in Dade City and North Campus in Brooksville.
