Mortgage Finance Management—Certificate
Mortgage finance managers may work as loan officers, closers, escrow specialists or in one of several other mortgage finance professions. The manager will generally oversee the work and productivity of loan processors and advisers and ensure that the company’s loan portfolio is safe and profitable. They will also evaluate and authorize the approval of certain loans.
Skills required of the mortgage manager include active listening, time management, persuasion, reasoning and oral and written communication.
The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment in the mortgage finance industry in positions such as loan officer, closer, post-closer, escrow specialist, quality control and positions in collections, loss mitigation, and REO.
This program can be completed in approximately one year if students attend classes on a full-time basis.
This program can be completed on the East Campus in Dade City, North Campus in Brooksville, Spring Hill Campus and West Campus in New Port Richey.
