Office Support—Certificate

Office assistants are an integral part of the everyday operation of the businesses for which they work.

Effective office technicians are highly organized, detail oriented, efficient, resourceful and technologically savvy.


To prepare students for employment as data entry specialists/ clerks, electronic publishers, insurance processing clerks, office assistants, receptionists and information clerks or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupations. Upon successful completion of this program, an individual may transfer into the two-year Associate in Science in Office Administration degree.


This program can be completed in less than six months if students attend full time.


This certificate can only be completed on West Campus in New Port Richey, a few courses within the certificate are available on other campuses.


All courses for this certificate are offered in the traditional classroom setting or online.
