Be a part of Peace Week 2016!
The Peace Week Committee is seeking proposals for symposiums, lectures, roundtable discussions, poster displays and other creative modalities to recognize that peace is not simply the absence of war; but a constantly changing and fragile ideology that can be threatened if people are not given the opportunity to express themselves and connect with one another.
In choosing a presentation type, please consider the most appropriate format for interactive input and stimulating discussion of issues.
- Symposium - Designed to enable multiple presenters followed by discussion
- Roundtable - Designed to facilitate interactive discussion and in-depth exploration of key evaluation issues
- Mini-workshop - A teaching/learning session designed along instructional lines
- Display or Poster - Displays in the breakout areas designed to promote event(s)
The abstract needs to describe the content of the presentation or workshop you are proposing. Please ensure the description of your proposed presentation or workshop is no more than 300 words.
All abstracts must include a photo(s) of the presenter(s) for inclusion in the program.
Innovative presentation styles
The Peace Week Committee wish to encourage innovative ways of presenting. All proposals for new methods will be considered.
