Why is PHSC providing students with assigned QuistaMail addresses?
Effectively communicating news and information to students is of the utmost importance to PHSC. Institution-issued email addresses have proven reliable because the accounts remain consistent throughout the enrollment of students. For this reason, many universities and colleges are adopting policies that include assigned email accounts.
How will the QuistaMail account be used by students to communicate with the College?
Your QuistaMail account from Google is your official College email address. You are expected to check it regularly for important communications from PHSC. You should also use your QuistaMail account when sending email to anyone at the College, as your other personal email accounts may be blocked at our firewall. You are also expected to adhere to all College policies regarding electronic communications and document storage.
What about access to Google Apps?
PHSC's agreement with Google includes a package of Google Apps that many students will find helpful. These user-friendly tools are among the most popular apps available to students and businesses.
Can I change my QuistaMail address or select a different email account as my primary College account?
No, your assigned QuistaMail address will be the primary account used for official college communications. We encourage all students to update alternate email accounts and phone numbers in our database. To update your contact information, go to WISE.
What if I already have a Gmail account?
Students who already subscribe to Gmail services may continue to access their Gmail accounts. Just keep in mind that your College issued QuistaMail account will be the email address that will be used for all important notifications. When communicating with the College faculty or staff you should always use your QuistaMail account so that your communication will reach its destination.

What if I forget my password?
You should have set up several security questions when you set up your QuistaMail account. If so, just visit the Forgotten Password page to reset your password. Remember, you will have to wait 15-30 minutes before you can login with your reset password.
How do I get help with QuistaMail?
If you have reviewed the material and links to the left under QuistaMail and still need help, contact the student help desk. Help may not be immediately available outside of regular office hours, on weekends, breaks and holidays.
Will I have access to Google Calendar and other Google goodies?

Will I be able to access my QuistaMail account on my smartphone or tablet?

What is Google Drive?
Google Drive allows you to centrally store your files in the cloud. See our Google Drive page for more information.
What will happen to my account when I am no longer a PHSC student?
One year after you graduate, or your last attendance, your account will be inactivated and you will no longer have access to your QuistaMail or Google Apps documents. Should you return to the College, your account will be reactivated, but any email and documents you previously had in your account will no longer be available.
