Connectivity symbolPHSC Wi-Fi

Free wireless access (PHSC Wi-Fi) to the Internet is available at all PHSC campuses. Wi-Fi zones vary per campus. Internet connectivity may be used to access WISE and myPHSC. Following are instructions for connecting to the PHSC Wi-FI using your mobile device or laptop.

Connecting to Wi-Fi with mobile devices

Apple Mobile Devices

  • Open Settings from the icon
  • Tap the Wi-Fi icon to turn Wi-Fi on
  • Choose phcc-wireless (If it is not available, you are not within range)
  • You will be directed to a login page
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your connection (If you are not automatically prompted by a login page, go to your Safari browser and type in a website URL. You will be redirected to log in to the PHSC Wi-Fi. Follow the instructions on the Web page.)

Android Mobile Devices

  • Open Settings from the icon, click on Wi-Fi
  • Choose phcc-wireless (If it is not available, you are not within range)
  • Open your Web browser and type in a website URL
  • You will then be directed to log in to the PHSC Wi-Fi
  • Follow the instructions on the Web page

Connecting to Wi-Fi with a laptop

  • Click the Wi-Fi icon on the bottom bar (PC) or the top right corner (Mac)
  • The phcc-wireless network will be displayed if within range
  • Open your browser and type in a website URL
  • You will then be prompted to log in to the PHSC Wi-Fi with an email address/name
  • Select to join as a Student
  • If you do not have up-to-date antivirus software, you will be re-directed to download a free program. Once installed, try the connection again.

Note: If you reconnect within seven days, your connection is automatically renewed. Different browsers, operating systems, tablet OSs, and tablet browsers will not all function the same. Should you have questions or encounter any difficulties, please contact the student help desk.
