Pasco-Hernando State College will be hosting several events related to Business Development Week. This is an empowering women’s community panel discussion about powerful stories of women and their struggles and successes.

  • Using Emotional Intelligence Intelligently, 8 to 9:15 a.m., with Irma Campos, Ph.D., President, Interface Consulting and Psychological Services, LLC. Discover how emotional intelligence can prepare you for success in business. Session includes defining emotional intelligence, business case and skills practice of emotional intelligence with employees. Includes a free light continental breakfast.
  • Five Dysfunctions of a Team, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Eddie Williams,Ed.D., Assistant Professor, Human Services, PHSC, discusses causes of low morale and poor teamwork in an organization and how to reverse course. Learn strategies to increase teamwork and improve the overall health of the organization.This is a free event.
  • Successful Women in Business Luncheon Panel, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Speakers include Suzanne Legg, CEO, Day Spring Academy, Sharon Hayes, CEO, Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, and Sero Sigh, Owner/President, Jennifer Gardens Assisted Living. Registration required. Cost is $12 per person.
