Pasco-Hernando State College recently announced the Rao Musunuru, M.D. Art Gallery’s Distinctive Perceptions 2018-2019 exhibit line-up. This year’s fine art exhibits will provide gallery visitors the opportunity to experience an array of unique exhibits and diverse works of art. The exhibits will be displayed in the Rao Musunuru, M.D. Art Gallery on the PHSC New Port Richey campus, 10230 Ridge Road. All exhibits are free and open to the public.

Snapshots of the Mesozoic: A New View of Dinosaurs

Sculptor Lyn Joyce uses specialized skills learned as a taxidermist’s apprentice, to bring back creatures from ancient history. Joyce creates models that show the latest scientific discoveries while attempting to fill in the blanks lost to time.


Art with Needle and Thread

Embroiderers’ Guild of America—Gulfview Chapter            Oct. 24–Dec. 12, 2018

Art with Needle and Thread includes works done in silk and metal threads, blackwork, drawn thread, hardanger, needle lace, ethnic embroidery, crewel techniques, and more. The Embroiderers’ Guild of America is a national non-profit educational organization offering study and preservation of the heritage and art of embroidery.

Artist: Elaine Hahn

Award winning artist Elaine Hahn specializes in capturing early morning and afternoon light, enhancing colors to produce unique and interesting reflections and shadows. Images of beautiful coastal and marine subjects found on the Gulf of Mexico in Florida are her focus.
