Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) supporters and sporting clay enthusiasts participated in the third annual Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) Foundation Sporting Clays Tournament, January 26, 2018, at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays. Harvard Jolly Architecture and Creative Contractors Inc. co-sponsored the event that netted more than $15,000 for the PHSC Foundation.

The Harvard Jolly Architecture team, including Ben Marshall, Phillip Trezza, Emmet Van Aken, and Jim Wiggers took first place. Second Place team trophies were distributed to Kevin Almengual, Frank Garcia, David Leon, and Scott Walker representing Tom Barrow Company. Amanda Weitknecht, Skanska USA Building, took home the award for top female participant, while Eric DeSmet, Cox Fire Protection, and Scott Heidt, Creative Contractors Inc., tied for top male score.

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board from Pasco and Hernando counties. Established in 1975, the PSHC Foundation, Inc. supports scholarships, health programs, faculty and staff development, campus libraries, lectures and other cultural events. With more than $40 million in net assets, the foundation also funds more than 900 scholarships annually to deserving Pasco and Hernando county students.
