Meet the Artist!
See the works of Alan Metzger as he showcases his exhibit to the public at his artist reception event! Painting exclusively in slow drying oil paints, has given Alan a world of opportunities to experiment with textures, brush strokes, brush smears, zig zag lines, score marks, and even scraping off the entire initial painting which leaves the canvas stained with the blurred image that he now repaints with more freedom, boldness and calculated brush strokes.
