You're Invited!
Join us at the SGA-sponsored overnight camping event at Starkey Wilderness Park where you will learn to be more comfortable and confident in trying new experiences.
Event Times:
- Arrive at Noon on Friday, Jan. 27; Meet at the cabin camping area in Starkey Park
- Depart at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28
Activities: Camping basics, hiking, cooking basics, and smores over a bonfire. Complete agenda will be sent to attendees
Cabin Arrangements: Students will share a cabin with up to seven (7) others. Each cabin contains eight (8) bunks with plastic mattresses, a large table, a light and an outlet. Next to the cabin is a shared bathroom facility.
Meals: Meals will be provided including Day 1 Lunch and Dinner, Day 2 Breakfast and Lunch. Students are welcome to bring snacks.
What to Bring: Participants must bring their own bedding (sleeping bag or sheet/blanket). Comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty are encouraged.
Eligibility: Participants must be currently enrolled PHSC student with at least a 2.0 GPA.
