Attendees will view the 48 Hours film "One Last Hug," followed by a conversation with guest speaker, Melissa Dohme Hill. Hill is a domestic violence prevention advocate from Hands Across the Bay, a Tampa Bay nonprofit organization, and a local domestic violence survivor. Her miraculous story of survival has been featured in national and international headlines across the world including 48 Hours, 20/20: In An Instant, People Magazine, Investigation Discovery and many more.
This event is part of PHSC's Community Awareness Series that informs the community on the dangers of dating/domestic violence and the social services available in Pasco County.
