The maximum salary is based on a doctorate education level and 8 years of verifiable full-time professional work experience and/or full-time teaching experience.

DUTY DAYS: 80 days Term II - This position is for one academic term from January 8, 2020 – May 6, 2020. Salary will be determined at hire date.

This position is normally a two terms (82 days Term I and 80 days Term II) position. It will return to a two terms (162 duty days) position for the 2020-2021 academic school year.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or a Master’s Degree with a combination of at least 18 graduate semester hours in a related computer field; must possess computer proficiency and be willing to develop and teach online courses; satisfactory criminal history background check; must be able to work some evening hours; split schedule. Some course assignments will be evening sections. Degrees and course hours must be from regionally accredited institutions. Applicants who claim a right of Veteran’s Preference must upload documentation of eligibility and attach it to their online application.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate degree in Computer Science with at least 18 graduate semester hours in a related computer field. Computer programming skills with experience in multiple program languages. Teaching experience, industry experience and industry certification.
