Standard high school diploma or GED; general knowledge of library practices; good clerical and customer service skills; data entry proficiency; evidence of proficiency with computers, online searching, micro applications, and AV equipment; must be able to work Monday-Thursday,12:30pm-9:00pm, and Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm during the fall and spring; must be able to work Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-7:30pm during the summer; satisfactory criminal history background check; must complete the following skills test: Data Entry 3 - Invoice: 5200 keystrokes per hour (KPH) with 95% accuracy. One year of college and experience working in a library.
Applicants selected for interview must have passed the above tests within the last 24 months, or will be tested for the above skill levels, to be considered for this position. A PHSC representative will contact chosen applicants to schedule a time for testing, if necessary.
