Dear Colleagues and Students:
The minute-by-minute news updates regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) can sometimes provide conflicting information. It is natural to feel worried about the health and welfare of our co-workers and classmates, our families and the community. Please be assured that administrators at Pasco-Hernando State College continue to monitor news about the virus and are in constant contact with local, state and federal agencies.
As we work toward implementing plans, please realize that, during this evolving pandemic, decisions cannot be based on precedence. There is not a quick and perfect fix for each issue we face, but it is essential that we remain positive and supportive to one another as our college community faces unusual and difficult challenges.
The health and safety of our students, faculty and staff is our highest priority. We do not know what the coming weeks will bring, but we will continue to stay in close contact with health and education officials and will follow FLDOE recommendations.
What Students Need to Know:
- All face-to-face classes are cancelled until March 23.
- Beginning March 23, all face-to-face classes will move to online instruction for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester.
- All services for students remain open at all campus locations, however some services may have reduced hours.
- Withdrawal date extended to April 10, 2020 for both A and B Terms.
We are indeed all in this together. Please remain health and safety conscious, communicate with supervisors or professors about specific concerns and stay tuned for future updates.
