Dear Colleagues and Students:
Over the past several weeks the PHSC Administrative Leadership Team and I have been working diligently to ensure a safe teaching and learning environment for our students, faculty and staff. I am quite proud to say that with the unparalleled collaboration between our esteemed faculty, staff, and administration, nearly 1100 classes were transitioned from face to face to the online platform as of Monday, March 30, 2020. A special thank you to each of you who provided your professional expertise to help make this happen.
Earlier this afternoon, Governor Ron DeSantis announced an order for Florida residents to stay at home except for trips or activities that are essential. Therefore, commencing Friday, April 3, 2020 PHSC employees will perform their duties remotely under the direction of their supervisors (from home or another alternative location), and all in-person student services remain suspended until further notice.
What PHSC Employees and Students Should Know:
- All face-to-face classes are now taught Online and will continue until the end of the semester.
- All in-person student services are suspended at all five PHSC campuses until further notice. Student services are available online. For more information, students may contact the Information Center at 1-855-NOW-PHSC (1-855-669-7472).
- Updates on all College activity regarding COVID-19 can be found at phsc.edu. Please continue to monitor the College website, college emails, and social media channels for updates.
As we all know, news about COVID-19 changes constantly and we will communicate as effectively and quickly as possible. Please remain patient during these uncertain times.
