Fantastic news from the State Leadership Conference of Phi Beta Lamda (PBL) in Orlando!  Five students attended the in-person conference at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center to represent PHSC. Each competed in objective testing over their spring break, and four were also involved in performance events at the conference.  

The award winners are listed below: 

  • Network Design (Team Performance/Test): Adrianna D'Anunzio and Rachel Watson, 1st Place 
  • Impromptu Public Speaking (Performance): Channing Sampson, 2nd Place 
  • Sales (Performance): Antonio Cancelli-Patrick, 2nd Place 
  • Computer Concepts (Objective Test): Adrianna D'Anunzio, 3rd Place 
  • Cybersecurity (Objective Test): Adrianna D'Anunzio, 4th Place

Additionally, Nicole Miller received the Florida Phi Beta Lambda Adviser of the Year Award. "I am so fortunate to work with Curtis Scaglione at West Campus, as currently we operate as one PBL comprised of two campus chapters.  I believe this collaboration helps our members, especially through pandemic transitions," said Miller.
