With the potential of Dorian heading toward Florida, PHSC is working to bring
together resources to help citizens prepare for the possibility of the storm.
Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) will host a Hurricane Preparation Expo, on
Thursday, August 29 at its North Campus in Brooksville, 11415 Ponce de Leon
Blvd. The event will be held outside near building A from 3 to 6 p.m. This
educational expo will provide critical information about things people can do
to prepare for a tropical storm or hurricane.
The expo will feature sessions taught by experts from the college and our
community, including Josh Linker, Bay News 9 Meteorologist; the Hernando
County Sheriff's Department; Office of Emergency Management; Withlacoochee
River Electric Cooperative; Southwest Florida Water Management District
(SWFMD); PHSC faculty; and others. Learn more about ways to keep your family,
pets, and property safe.
