Gov. Ron DeSantis recently announced the reappointment of Marilyn Pearson-Adams to the Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) District Board of Trustees (DBOT).
Marilyn Pearson-Adams, of Brooksville, is the president and owner of Century 21 Alliance Realty of Spring Hill. She is the current chair of the PHSC DBOT, chair of the Florida Realtors’ Legislative Think Tank and a past chair of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce. She was inducted into the National Association of Realtors Hall of Fame in 2020.
“One of the greatest opportunities of my lifetime has been to serve as a trustee for PHSC,” said Pearson-Adams. “I am truly grateful for the honor of being reappointed and would like to thank Governor DeSantis for allowing me to remain in service as a trustee for the incredible institution of Pasco-Hernando State College.”
“We are very pleased by the reappointment of Marilyn Pearson-Adams to the PHSC District Board of Trustees,” said Timothy L. Beard, Ph.D., PHSC president. “Ms. Pearson-Adams is a dynamic, effective leader of our board and a respected and admired member of the community. As a loyal trustee to the college since 2014, her leadership has had a positive impact on PHSC.”
The reappointment of Pearson-Adams was effective as of August 27 and is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
