Golf enthusiasts and Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) supporters teed up at the eighth Annual Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) Foundation Golf Tournament, October 2, 2017. Led by presenting sponsors SunTrust Banks and Walbridge, golfers enjoyed the links of the exclusive Black Diamond Quarry Course while raising funds for the PHSC Foundation.
Congratulations to the First Place Net team from SESCO Lighting Company, including Bob Coffman, Greg Coffman, Kenny Kunde, and Bryan Menedez. First Place Gross trophies were presented to Robbie Gosnell, Jamie McKinney, Larry Stevens, and Josh Visser representing Energy Air, Inc. Ryan Koch, Waste Management, Inc., and Kasey Bartkovich, Energy Air, won Longest Drive contests.
Timothy L. Beard, Ph.D., PHSC president, and William Shustowski Jr., Ph.D., executive director of the PHSC Foundation and assistant vice president of institutional advancement, recognized presenting sponsors SunTrust Banks and Walbridge at the awards banquet immediately following play. Generous support from tournament sponsors and players raised $27,000 for the PHSC Foundation. To date, the annual event has raised more than $275,000, dedicated to the advancement of student scholarships, academic and athletic programs, libraries and other college initiatives.
