Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) is offering a course for childcare directors to become credentialed and a course for those seeking a childcare professional credential. The Operation of an Early Childhood Center (NCP-0005) course for childcare directors meets Florida Department of Children and Families requirements for the director credential, pursuant to section 402.305(2)(f), F.S. The Florida Childcare Professional Credential (NCP-0100) course qualifies childcare workers for the Florida Department of Children and Families FCCPC staff credential. Those interested can enroll now for upcoming courses.

The Operation of an Early Childhood Center (NCP-0005) course will be offered as a remote online class via Zoom from 6–9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays from May 17 to July 16, 2021. The cost for this course is $350.

The Childcare Professional Credential (NCP-0100) course is offered as a hybrid course meeting via Zoom for 48 of the 120 class hours from 5:30–9:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings from May 18 to August 3, 2021. The remainder of the course is delivered with online assignments. The cost for this course is $905 and the textbook is $75.
