Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) is accepting applications for an adjunct temporary instructor, to teach American Sign Language at the North Campus in Brooksville, East Campus in Dade City and the Spring Hill Campus.

Required Qualifications

Applicants for sign language instructor must have a master’s degree, from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of deaf education, deaf studies, or deafness-related courses (e.g., audiology, linguistics). Must be able to work evening hours and/or weekends; satisfactory criminal history background check. Applicants who claim Veteran’s Preference must provide documentation of eligibility.

Application Requirements

The application review process may be initiated with copies of transcripts; however, official transcripts must be received before an applicant can begin teaching.
