Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) is accepting applications for an adjunct temporary instructor, to teach EMS courses at the West Campus in New Port Richey and North Campus in Brooksville.
Associate's degree from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the United States Department of Education is required. Level A EMS education course – National Guidelines for Educating EMS Instructors, 64J-1.0201(5), F.A.C.. Must have paramedic certification and current, unrestricted Florida paramedic licensure, and a minimum of four years of experience in the pre-hospital setting with an Advanced Life Support provider, and three years experience as a paramedic. EMT – American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS certification; Paramedic – American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS Instructor certification. Applicant will need to obtain Instructor and provider Certification in PALS and PHTLS within the first 6 months of hire; satisfactory criminal history background check; must be able to work occasional evening hours, split schedule; weekends.
