Job Description

The maximum salary is based on a doctorate education level and 8 years of verifiable full-time professional work experience and/or full-time teaching experience.

Duty Days: 162 (2 semesters)

Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a Master’s Degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields: Computer Engineering, Computer Information Technology, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Systems, Internet Services, MIS, Networking Services. Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution; satisfactory criminal history background check; must be able to work occasional evening hours, split schedule. Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate degree in a computer science related field strongly preferred; certification in Security or networking strongly preferred. One or more: CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNA Security, EC-Council CEH, GIAC Security Essentials certifications; vulnerability assessment and penetration testing experience; cyber security expertise; prior coursework or experience in cyber intelligence, information assurance, and/or digital forensics; Cisco Academy Instructor certification.
