The maximum salary is based on a doctorate education level and 8 years of verifiable full-time professional work experience and/or full-time teaching experience. In addition to the 162 Duty Day salary listed above, the faculty member is eligible to earn approximately $9,500 more for a Summer overload that is traditional with this position.
Duty Days: 80 days Term II - This position is for one academic term from January 2, 2019 – May 1, 2019. This position is also eligible for summer overload. Duty Days and salary will be determined at hire date.
This position is normally a two terms (82 days Term I and 80 days Term II) position. It will return to a two terms (162 duty days) position for the 2019-2020 academic school year.
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing; minimum 2 years recent clinical or educational experience; current unrestricted Florida RN license; satisfactory level II criminal history background check. Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution. Current American Heart Association “Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers” CPR certification, negative PPD or chest X-ray and updated immunizations required. Negative drug and alcohol screens are required when selected for position. Master’s Degree Nursing, practical nursing (PN) teaching experience.
