    Chloe Colon-Moore

    Chloe-Colon Moore is a deaf student. Growing up in Orange Park, Florida, she didn’t discover her dreams until she came to PHSC. In 2021, Chloe chose Pasco-Hernando State College. During her freshman year, she was a new student in a new city, surrounded by unknown faces. To overcome this, she joined Student Life and Leadership events to network with other students. During the Student Life Retreats 2021- 2023, she had a wonderful time interacting and getting to know people. She met incredible students who became like family to her, forming lifelong connections and bonds.

    From July 2023 to April 2024, Chloe joined PHSC as a Library Assistant. During this time, the library staff supported her journey at PHSC. At work, she had a second family and home. The library and the staff will forever hold a special place in her heart. In the future, she plans to study psychology to become a therapist for children and adolescents. Chloe's goal is to further her education by obtaining her Master's in psychology. She is graduating this spring and she will attend the University of South Florida.

    PHSC Student Leader

    Emmalise Feliciano began her journey in 2020. Taking dual enrollment classes at Zephyrhills High School empowered her to continue her education at Pasco-Hernando State College. Now, as a full-time student, it has been her pleasure to attend. During her time at PHSC, she has had the honor of holding prestigious leadership positions, including serving as the college-wide Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society President and Vice President of Future Business Leaders of America. She has built meaningful relationships, grown alongside fellow leaders, learned the importance of completing scholarships to compete, and most importantly, she has actively served in her community. After graduating with her Associate of Arts degree this spring, she intends to further her education as an undergraduate to complete her Bachelor's in Business Management.

    Vice Chair, District Board of Trustees

    Lee Maggard is Vice President, Credit Officer for Bank Florida in Dade City,. He has been employed in the banking industry for 12 years. A lifelong resident of East Pasco County and a PHSC alumnus, he has served on the board since 2018.

    Marilyn Pearson-Adams

    Vice Chair, PHSC District Board of Trustees

    Marilyn Pearson-Adams (Brooksville) was elected to serve as chair, PHSC District Board of Trustees (DBOT), succeeding Alvaro Hernandez, for the 2020-2021 academic year.

    Pearson-Adams, is the president of Century 21 Alliance Realty, a director with the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, and previously served as a board member of the Pasco Hernando Workforce Board. She has served on several professional committees and organizations, and holds relevant real estate industry certifications. Pearson-Adams has served on the PHSC DBOT since 2014.

    Misty Price, Ph.D.

    Professor, Accounting; President, Faculty Senate, Pasco-Hernando State College

    Misty Renee Price, Ph.D., CPA, is currently enjoying her 13th year as a professor of accounting.  Price has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida, a master’s degree of accountancy from Auburn University, a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from the University of South Florida and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida. She currently teaches accounting and finance courses and serves as a subject matter expert in developing online model courses in accounting and finance. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Price also serves as PHSC’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) director and is the newly elected faculty senate president. She serves on a number of PHSC Committees, including co-chairing the General Education Committee as well as the Student Success Committee. 

    Prior to her career in academia, Price worked in industry for approximately 10 years performing internal operational audits, audits of internal controls and financial statements, preparing tax returns, and managerial accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Teachers of Accounting at Two Year Colleges.
