Thank you to everyone who supported PHSC's 50th Anniversary celebrations throughout the 2022-2023 year, including events held at our East, North and West Campuses, the Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch, the Instructional Performing Arts Center in Wesley Chapel and the Spring Hill Campus.

East Campus

  • East Campus Anniversary Celebration

    This 50th Anniversary event at Dade City celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month.

    Activities included:

    • Drone and Welding Technology Demonstrations
    • Games, Prizes
    • Music
    • Salsa Dance Demonstrations
    • Refreshments

     

    Fees for new student applications were waived at the event.


West Campus

  • West Campus Anniversary Celebration

    This 50th Anniversary event at New Port Richey celebrated National Caregiving Appreciation Month. 

    Activities included:

    • Games, Prizes
    • Music
    • Refreshments
    • Tours of Campus

     

    Fees for new student applications were waived at the event.


Porter Campus

  • Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch Anniversary Celebration

    This 50th Anniversary event at Wesley Chapel celebrated Black History Month. 

    Festivities included:

    • activities for the entire family
    • refreshments
    • a tribute to the Florida Highwaymen Painters’ collection, the origin of Florida Community Colleges and the Magnificent Twelve, and African American medical innovations during campus tours of our state-of-the-art Nursing Program facilities


  • Instructional Performing Arts Center

    This 50th Anniversary event at Wesley Chapel celebrated Black History Month.

    Festivities included:

    • light hor d'oeuvres
    • entertainment as we offered tours of our Theatre, Dance, Music, and Digital Media programs 
    • Maurice Allen Jazz Trio featured John Lamb (former Bassist for Duke Ellington) and Motown sounds from Shawn Brown Entertainment and Arlene Brook's Jazz Unplugged, who paid tribute to Florida's African American entertainers and Tampa’s famous Jackson House


North Campus

  • North Campus Anniversary Celebration

    This 50th Anniversary event at Brooksville celebrated Women's History Month.


Spring Hill Campus

  • Spring Hill Campus Anniversary Celebration

    This 50th Anniversary event celebrated Earth Day and Sustainability Month. During the event, our Student Sustainability Art Show was displayed in the Rao Musunuru, M.D. Conference Center.
