    Anita Mukerjee is committed to sustainability and a world in which all babies are held by loving arms. She has degrees in microbiology and hotel management. She has pursued her interests in environmentalism, yoga (both laughter yoga and the stand-on-your-head kind), meditation, vibrational healing, bioenergetics and permaculture over the years with various workshops, trainings and retreats in diverse settings around the world as well as in her own back yard. She recently discovered her love for drumming and enjoys playing the hand pan.

    Anita's favorite speaker ever at Peace Week was Eva Kor, who inspired her to look deep at whether there was anything at all that could not be forgiven. A daily journey of gratitude begins with being grateful for the luxury of a hot shower.

    Nicole Newlon

    Board Member, PHSC District Board of Trustees

    Nicole Newlon, Esq., appointed by Gov. Desantis to the District Board of Trustees of Pasco-Hernando State College in July 2023, is a partner in the Tampa law firm of Johnson, Newlon & DeCort, P.A.  Newlon is a Dade City resident and graduate of Pasco high school. She was a dual enrollment student at PHSC in 1990-1991; followed by a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Florida, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of South Florida, and her juris doctorate from Stetson University. She is the Immediate Past Chair of the Federal Litigation Section of the Federal Bar Association and a former Dade City Commissioner.

    Assistance Programs Liaison at BayCare Behavioral Health

    With over 25 years as an education and outreach professional Tracy Stanko has developed and delivered hundreds of presentations, facilitations, and training programs. She is a passionate advocate for mental health, caregiving, and palliative care. Tracy likes to get people excited about topics that excite her. She has spent much of her career educating families about the tough and tender topic of end-of-life care.

    Tracy is currently the Assistance Programs Liaison for BayCare Behavioral Health. She works with colleges, faith organizations and businesses in a four-county area informing them about important Employee Assistance Program benefits and working to reduce the stigma around mental healthcare.

    Tracy received her B.S. degree in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University. She is certified as an Advance Care Planning Facilitator and an Alzheimer’s Support Group Facilitator.  In her free time, Tracy is a Reiki Master and a Laughter Yoga Facilitator.

    Jacqui Turner is the manager for Community Relations and Marketing for BayCare Behavioral Health. She has 20 years combined experience in health care and higher education administration with a focus on communication, training, and business development. She is the primary point of contact for organizations seeking to secure BayCare behavioral health services and educational programming. Jacqui holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in adult education. When she’s not working, Jacqui is involved with several organizations related to education, environmental protection and community service in Tarpon Springs.

    Allison J. Walker is a creative, passionate higher education professional from upstate New York then moved to Holiday, Florida. Allison stayed in Pasco County to pursue her Bachelor’s at Saint Leo University. While she was pursuing her Bachelor’s degree, she quickly realized that her love for higher education and her passion for helping students could be turned into a full-time career. So she finished her Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and went onto Nova Southeastern University to get her Master’s in College Student Affairs.

    After graduation, Allison became the Coordinator of Student Activities & Leadership at Polk State College in Winter Haven, Florida and eventually moved to Orlando, Florida where she currently serves as the Coordinator of Student Life at Seminole State College in Oviedo, Florida. Her experience ranges from student programming, leadership development, advising Student Government, marketing, diversity, LGBTQ+ initiatives, and many more. Allison is always seeking new opportunities to get involved, research and present on any topics of interest and need to help student development.

    Outside of her roles, Allison has been actively involved in the Florida College System Student Government Association by serving on the advisory board and presenting at conferences; and has worked as adjunct professor at Polk State College and Valencia College. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Otto, playing board games, video games and Dungeons and Dragons, and regularly attends soccer games.

    Rebecca Whitlock is an instructor of humanities at Pasco-Hernando State College, Porter Campus. In her scholarly work in the field of cultural studies, she examines the various ways that art reflects and influences cultural values. In the classroom, her goal is to inspire students to contemplate the special relationship humans have with art and to actively engage with the arts in their community.
