Low-Cost Preventive Dental Services

All services provided will cost $25 for adults and $15 for children (10 and under). This payment covers all appointments to complete your cleaning. For more information on the list of services we offer, view the section below.

  • Periodontal examination
  • Oral examination
  • Oral cancer screening
  • X-rays
  • Prophylaxis (tooth polishing)
  • Teeth scaling
  • Ultrasonic scaling
  • Dental cleaning/deep cleaning with local anesthetic (if needed)
  • Fluoride treatment
  • Sealants
  • Nutritional counseling (on foods that cause cavities)

Please note the following:

  • The dental hygiene clinic only offers preventive dental hygiene services (no restorations, extractions or crowns). You need to see your general dentist on a regular basis.
  • Dental hygiene treatments are offered by students under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist and dental hygienist. The clinic is educationally focused and detail-oriented; therefore, multiple appointments may be needed to complete the cleaning.
  • Services are offered by appointment. Clinic hours and days may change each semester. Appointments last 3.5 hours. Multiple appointments may be needed to complete your treatment.
  • Payment is due on the first visit. Only cash or check is accepted.
  • The dental hygiene clinic adheres to "universal precautions" and industry standards for sterilization to ensure patient safety regarding exposure to infectious diseases and environmental hazards.
