About
In 2024, PHSC worked to develop its next strategic plan. The vision was to create a plan that was inclusive of all the voices across the College. Through a Listening Tour, an anonymous survey and 55 one-hour meetings with students, faculty and staff facilitated by the president, more than 2,300 comments provided valuable insights to guide the strategic plan draft.
A steering committee was formed along with sub-committees for each of the college goals. Seventy-four participants, including faculty, staff, administrators, students, alumni, donors and community members were represented on the committees to incorporate diverse perspectives. These committees met regularly during the summer and fall of 2024 to shape the goals, objectives and key performance indicators of PHSC’s Strategic Plan 2025-2029. The new plan officially began on January 1, 2025, and will conclude on December 31, 2029. It is the vision for where the college will be in 2030 as we work toward Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow.
