Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) is hosting a ceremony honoring fallen officers in Pasco and Hernando counties on Monday, November 17, from 1 to 1:30 p.m. This event will be held at the PHSC East Campus Public Service Technology Building Courtyard at 36727 Blanton Road, Dade City, FL 33523.

This ceremony is open to the public and honors the brave men and women of law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our communities. The dedication and tribute at the ceremony are made in the name of officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. As part of this dedication, Captain Charles "Bo" Harrison's patrol car will be formally dedicated in memory of fallen officers, whose legacy of leadership and service continues to inspire those who follow in their footsteps.

The memorial is being installed at PHSC’s East Campus, where PHSC’s Law Enforcement Academy cadets are trained and evaluated. “This ceremony serves as a powerful reminder of the courage and sacrifice of those who protect and serve our communities,” said Eric Hall, Ed.D., PHSC president. “As we honor the memory of these fallen officers, we also reaffirm our commitment to preparing the next generation of law enforcement professionals with the values of integrity, service and leadership.”

Ceremony remarks will be delivered by PHSC President Eric Hall; Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco; and PHSC District Board of Trustees Member Jeffrey Harrington, Ph.D.
